The Mazlaya Merlin is a fish you must catch for the level 50 fishing guild quest. It can be kind of tricky for players with low gathering stats to catch one so a lot of players just buy them instead from the market board. They normally sell well since they are in demand unlike a lot of fish. In addition to selling the fish as is if you are a certain kind of crafter which I believe is the alchemist but im not positive, you can turn it into a piece of wall mounted furniture which is another way you can make money with this fish is by crafting it then selling it after.
